Angel Yau: subscribe to Angel
Angel is from Queens, New York. Later on she went to college in Ithaca, NY and majored in Film Production and minored in Creative Writing. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Los Angeles where she hoped to be the next Kathy Griffin. Perhaps that was not the best comedian to follow… A few laughs, tears and bruises later, she decided to go back to her hometown- New York City where she is currently working as a freelance videographer (which spellcheck says is not a real word). She still performs comedy all over the stage and Internet. Her interests are Internet-time-wasters, self-reflexive art, crazy people and food. Her biggest fear is to be boring and murderers.
Erin Melnick: subscribe to Erin
Erin was raised in the wild of Vermont, and made the move to a colder Ithaca, NY, where she got her bachelor’s in Television Scriptwriting, and to an even colder Linköping, Sweden, where she is currently getting her master’s in International and European Relations. She has lived in Los Angeles, Spain and the Netherlands, and is busy adding useful languages to her brain that have less than 17,000 speakers. As basically the only American in her circle, she has learned many funny, startling and strange things about people and the world. And so, she will share them with you here.
Kyle Jamieson: subscribe to Kyle
Kyle is a 24 year old originally from the Boston area. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2007 and now lives in Los Angeles, working for an entertainment television show. He is huge fan of his home town teams – particularly the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. His favorite sports to watch are the NFL, college basketball, NBA, college football, MLB, and the NHL (in that order) – so expect articles focusing on those sports. He also enjoys soccer and will most definitely be throwing himself into the World Cup in the summer of 2010, as he does every 4 years. Besides sports, Kyle’s biggest interests are in movies and television. He plans on contributing occasional articles in those fields as well.
Vijay Singh – subscribe to Vijay
Vijay grew up in beautiful upstate New York where the fresh air and mountain breeze helped develop his creative brain cells, although it may also account for his tendency to disappear into the woods for days at a time. He graduated from college in 2007. He wastes a lot of time trying to capture Australia when playing Risk, claims his chocolate chip cookies are the best in the world and enjoys a good snack, then a nap or playing video games. Wait, how old is he?

Great article. Usually I write to complain about things but this was fun to read and also caring. We all drive by stranded motorists when we are late and assume someone else will call. Good for you to take action. I love the image of a sports fan so worked up that furniture is being moved and screaming to the television is going on. It really makes me wonder what it is about sports that makes us care so much. Well…some of us.

John McCain is just like every other Republican politician – he’ll say anything to get elected. It doesn’t matter how obvious it is that it’s complete nonsense.
Hopefully this backfires on McCain and the rest of the Republicans this fall. And folks remember that it was the Republicans that got us into the mess we’re in today. It’s President Obama and the Democratic party that are trying to pull us out.
