A new online dating service called GameCrush opened as a beta site a few weeks ago. The service allows members to pay to play online games with other users over the Xbox LIVE Network at $6.60 per 10 minutes. The site even allows users to “define the experience they want, either flirty or dirty” during their “PlayDates”.
If that isn’t enough sad news for you – hold on to your butts, because it gets even worse. The site was so successful in its inception that they had to close the beta to set up another server. That’s right – there were so many people willing to pay $6.60 every ten minutes to play dirty video games with strangers, the site had temporarily close down for expansion.
I don’t even know how that would work, or why it would be appealing. I would really like to see the person who can successfully play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with one hand. On second thought, I’ll be happy enough to just take their word for it.
